Small Business Week - Celebrating Social Enterprise
Our Business Students for Social Goals have been diving deep into the concept of Social Enterprise, and now they want to share what they have learned with the public. Please join them during Small Business Week (October 14th to 21st) as they host a series of public events to raise awareness of local Social Enterprise operating in St. John’s and Mount Pearl.
The public is welcome to attend this information session on The Autism Society NL, presented by senior CNA Business Management students.
Bottle drive fundraiser to sponsor students for music lessons through Project Grace. Contact info to arrange bottle pickup, or drop donations is contained within the event listing.
UPS Donation Drive for Take Two Gently-used Clothing & More, a Social Enterprise of Empower. UPS trucks will be picking up donations for gently used clothing on Saturday, October 20th in the A1E postal code.
This information booth will help raise awareness about Pawsology and what they do. They are a Social Enterprise with a mission to treat mental illness before it reaches its most critical points.
The public is invited to ‘Craft in a Box’, where they can help ‘craft’ a new offering from the Craft Council Shop. Senior CNA Business Management students will be on hand to guide participants through the event and gather their valuable feedback.
